From the Prez....

Hello Snow Travelers!

Summertime, yard work, fishing, building and fixing, putting up firewood and occasionally getting to go for an ATV ride!

We finally have a date to begin trail work. Per Larry: On July 31st, (visit the forum for current info) I could use some help staking trail on the 100 mile loop. This area is north of CHSR and near what is called the whales head. We will be locating the route so as to be on borough property and take a route to be developed maybe next summer. I have invited Tom Hancock with Parks and Recs Trails Advisory Committee and he would like to go with us. He will also give us a briefing on it. WE need people, atvs, gps' and sense of humor.

We are hoping this is the beginning of a fruitful season of trail building and growing our relationship with other trail users. The board will continue throughout the summer working on the rides list for next season. If you have any ideas or requests for rides, be sure to post them or let one of us know, we are always looking for ideas.

Along with the C.O.E., the Northern Lights Group and the Racing Lions, we are also working through the summer on plans for the Snow Rondy. We are hoping to get some good sponsors to help out with the increased costs associated with putting it on as it continues to grow.

Our first regular membership meeting is October 20th at Northern Power Sports, 7pm. Until then, have a great summer.
