as far as i know you have to walk five miles from the road until you can shoot and no powered vehicles are allowed of the haul road.

new sled cool! Yeah I have never ridden turnagin pass before it looks a little over whelming. Early in the season I think the avalanche danger would be high.

I just moved to Anchorage from Fairbanks and I prefer Fairbanks for sure! The cost of living is a little cheaper here though. They just had the winter show at Sullivan arena. They had some of the new Arctic Cats out like the new F series, and 1 M1000. I did not see an M8 like i hoped.

I hear you there John, I can not wait to ride. We have snow about 1/4 down the Chugach mountains in Anchorage. I sure miss Fairbanks.
