Nobody has mentioned boots yet. When I moved here I assumed that 40 below boots would be adequate since I had no plans on playing outside at colder than 25 below. I was wrong. For riding at 20 below or colder, you need at least -80 boots.

Sean Osborn also told us about the by-pass they made around the downed trees on the Bonnifield Trail. They have essentially created a new trail on the east side of Clear Creek Butte that connects with the Bonnifield on the north and south ends of the Butte.

Heather has already put the Ester trail closure in the agenda for our next board meeting. If there are other ongoing efforts to keep specific trails in this area open, I am unaware of them.
