The snows good but the rivers and creeks are still opened. This ride was originally going to follow a route that required a couple crossings of the Chatanika, no happening. So we'll decide at breakfast what route we'll be taking with the ride leader.

Had a cool -28 below at the house this morning, but it is suppose to get warmer by next weekend.

Good ride, short, only 30 miles but really enjoyable and great company.

Lots of snow around Cleary and lots of un-broken/un-tracked trails and areas for you snow busters.

Should be a good ride with the new snow fall.

So we've rescheduled the 4th ride to the 11th. We'll meet at Chatanika Lodge @ 9:00 AM for breakfast and head up to Cleary Summit. If the snow is sufficient we'll ride our sleds up, if not we'll trailer to the pull out by Fairbanks Creek and ride around on the upper elevations. Maybe do a little exp...

Sat the 4th Nov ride is canceled due to weather. It may be rescheduled once we get some more snow fall to cover the base that I'm guessing is pretty hard packed right now from all the rain.

So keep an eye on the forum and we my relist this ride this month.

Was a great turn out at the show, we got a good number of renewals and some new members. Some of the new members are joining for the summer ATV rides rather then winter ones.

Sunday at the Go Winter! Expo is free to Military with ID or anyone who brings two cans of food for the Food Bank. Being just a few weeks before Thanksgiving, this is a great time to boost the Food Bank's food supply! Sunday, Oct 29 - 11am to 5pm.
