I agree with John. Not enough snow as of yet. You risk more damage than good riding this early. Usually for a trail sled allow atleast 6 in of snow if not more. HiFax are cheap but if you are inexpeirenced with the maintenance could end up costing you alot more in repairs. Everyone is itching to go ...

They are calling for snow all the way through Thursday. I am going to take a drive up that way on Thursday and check out the conditions. Still have 12 days before the 7th so lets be positive.

Looking at the weather forcast nothing within the next 10 days. I am hoping that the weather person is wrong. I will be doing snow dance all week. Bright side is Summitt (black rapids) is getting snow!

It was really nice meeting everyone and look forward to the swap meet this Saturday. Wife would have been there tonight but she is not feeling well, but wishes she could have gotten to go.

Looking forward to some good sledding this year.

What about some where out towards the North Pole area near Chena Lakes Rec area? They have plenty of parking out here before you go in but no ramps.

I have USAA and i have a pretty good rate for 4 sleds. USAA just changed and don't send to Progressive any longer. Also checked with Progressive when I went to get new insurance and they aren't offering insurance for Alaska for some reason. Maybe it was just me lol.

Several on craigslist also there are alot towards Anchorage depending on how far you want to travel to get it.

is it Next season or this season? LOL Might be a little late but I am more than willing to lead a ride in the cantwell area. Also maybe around the mile 36 CHSR. What does the leaders job entail? Besides being the leader LOL. Probably a really dumb question.

What kind of Items can we expect to see there? New items or mostly just used? Just curious have never been to the swap meet up here before.
