Yes I am. After a week of it another doctor discovered I did break the tibia right above the ankle bone. Nothing serious, but a pain the rear none the less.
So, yes, watch out for overflow. Make sure and bring those slip on shoe spikes just in case. Wish I would have.

As for the ride, it was nice weather, sufficient snow, and a whole lot of overflow if you go past Cache Cr. cabin. While I'm on the subject of overflow, the X-Rays of the ankle came back good, nothing broke, but I will be gimped up for a while. I'll let ObiJuan explain that one, he's got the picture...

I don't want to impose, but would you guys be open to a newbie joining along? I was looking to ride this weekend and anyone I normally go with is either injured or out of town, so I was hoping someone on here was riding close to town.

Is anyone gathering up to ride out to Chena Lakes? I am planning on riding there from Univ. West, (Chena Small Tracts).

Just looking to see if anyone might be interested in some riding tomorrow and/or Thurs.
I work a rotating shift and it gets difficult to find people able to ride weekdays. I'll more than likely be riding the flats or to Nenana but could travel if there's somewhere better.

Check out Independent Rental. I got one there last year for around $40 (gas powered). I believe they are closed on Sun. for the winter so get one on Sat. and return on Mon.
Was well worth it for me.
