Just drove in from Anchorage, lousy driving conditions, Anchorage to Wasilla, Trapper Creek to Healy but lots, lots of snow. Weather looks good, ride should be good, deep stuff. Planning on a day ride deal but will be ready to overnight if I have to and drive Sunday AM,Easter dinner with the family ...

I'm going to plan on bringing my toboggan so I can bring a sixer of gas and my "stuff", got to have my stuff with me, and have extra space if needed to haul whatever. It's going to be a nice weekend!

FYI Just checked things out on the way home from work and Gilmore has been plowed, the turnaround-parking area has also been cleared however it was never really that spacious to begin with and with all this snow it is even less spacious. This is going to be a tough one as 2manydogs has me going to Anchorage for that weekend, a dog show no less. I'm going to really miss doing this ride, bummer. Committed myself quite a while ago and we didn't get to see and spend time with family over Christmas so it's not all 2manydogs' fault. I bet...
