From big lake Trail inc.

The following proposed ordinance from MSB Assemblyman Colver would reappropriate all funds meant for the Winter Trail Care and Grooming Grant. This would mean no grooming grants this year.

Ordinance Serial No. 12-090: AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING $20,000 FROM THE FISHHOOK COMMUNITY COUNCIL TO FUND 430, PROJECT NO. 35187, HATCHER PASS ACCESS ROAD AND TRANSIT FACILTY, REAPPROPRIATING $28,000 FROM FUND 440, PROJECT NO. 15040, $100,000 FROM FUND 480, PROJECT NO. 20332, AND $20,000 FROM FUND 475, PROJECT NO. 20343 TO FUND 430, PROJECT NO. 35187, HATCHER PASS ACCESS ROAD, TRANSIT AND COMMUNITY FACILITY.
a. IM No. 12-139

At a time of when funds are virtually drying up for winter grooming, this ordinance needs to be opposed. Grooming our winter trails serves the greater good by serving Alaskans.

I didn't catch that MSB stood for Matsu Borough. Donno how much weight NorthStar Borough living individual comments will have though...

Dear Sir
I see this ordinance is being look at by your assembly, if this passes sorry to tell you we will be bypassing Matanuska Susitna borough for our winter snowmachine trip south from Fairbanks. Both my wife and I are over 60 so groom trail are what we look for. If you raid this fund, us and the money we spend in your area for meals, rooms, and gas will be moving on.
