FNSB land disposal comments closing 8/9

#1 Post by Dr Brian »

The FNSB is taking suggestions on tracts of land to develop and hold aside for recreation, but comments close 8/9!

http://www.co.fairbanks.ak.us/LandMa...N_BROCHURE.pdf

There are a lot of areas to pay attention to and protect...even if you recommend the Borough to hold aside for recreation.

I figured the most interesting areas are:

Gilmore trail...impacts near the 100 mile loop
Banner Creek, though not sure much sledding happens there
Ester
Peede road extension...area already being carved up.

Please look over the brochure and comment ASAP before more progress compresses around trails.

Thanks for taking the time to participate.

Thanks for fixing it...though it worked originally for some reason!

Got my comments in.
Hope others did too.
