there is no snow here yet! Very little I hope we get some soon. How is Cantwell doing?

No snow in Cantwell either, so far only ridable snow is Summit and it's not the best.

Race Day

Racers will be unloading machines as early as 8am, final line up is 10am. VIP Snowmobile LIMO Rides (8 Person Capacity) 10am - 2pm. Governor Palin will start the 2007 Tesoro Iron Dog Race Event, waving the Green Flag at 11am. Racers will depart in two minute intervals. After the last of the racers have departed, the family fun continues with the AMMC Mini 120 kids snowmobile race event IRONPUP and AMMC Vintage Snowmobile Race 1979 and older GOLD RUSH CLASSIC.

Anyone have a know of a good place on the Tanana to watch the race. Big jump etc. Also went is the souvenir tent to open?

About half way down to Nenana there is a place to the left (south side) that I've used before, You have to get off the river and get over the embankment which can be a bugger to do.

Tents and all are suppose to open Sat am, around 9 or 10 I think.
