UPCOMING ATV Ride. On May 24-27 our club will be having the end of the snow machine season/beginning ATV season campout at Livengood. We did the ride a few years back and found excellent trails to ride on. This whole area is historical from the old gold mining operations and the buildings. There is still a little active mining going on, so we will try to avoid those areas. On Saturday, the club will provide Hamburgers and hot dogs.
To get there, take the Elliot Hwy and drive past the turnoff to Livengood. About 1/2 mile past the turnoff, there is a very large gravel pit to the right where camp will be set up. If you drive to the Manley Hot Springs turnoff, you went too far. This event is open to all members and non members, so invite your friends to come along, even if you just come out for the day.
