This is a new ride we've never done before as a club ride. Been trying for three years and I think this is the year to go with the snow we've gotten.

We'll start at Nenana (The Monderosa) and ride to the lodge at Beaver Point. Should be about 55 miles one way. Unload our overnight accessories :P take a break and then ride to Manley to enjoy a nice soak in the hot springs.

Sat ride should be 88 miles total to the hot springs and then another 33 back to the lodge for dinner.

Sun will be a return trip to the rigs, say 55 miles.

Is gas available at Beaver point lodge? I planned on fishing on Sunday. I might want to do half the ride out to the lodge and back just on Sat.

This is going to be a tough one as 2manydogs has me going to Anchorage for that weekend, a dog show no less. I'm going to really miss doing this ride, bummer. Committed myself quite a while ago and we didn't get to see and spend time with family over Christmas so it's not all 2manydogs' fault. I better watch it as she (2manydogs) my sweet wife might disapprove of my username?!

:rolf: Enjoy your family time.

Billy: Plan was to haul gas. I and/or Steve will be taking a tow behind for our overnight gear and such, figured we'd haul gas as well.

However, Myles did say he had gas at the lodge, not sure what the cost is.

Heck, come along and go to the hot springs with us, you can bring your fishing gear and fish the lake :<)

Melissa and I already have a DNR fish house rented and a friend coming with so we're still gonna do that. I'm not sure if I can fit a 2 gal mountable gas can on my extra tunnel,
or just see of I can get gas there. If we only do the 55 miles to the lodge shouldnt need much extra to go back, especially if its just trail riding.

Tim,

If you fly I have a 15 gal drum you could haul out for us, but it would be nice to have someone who has actually been there and on the track were taking.

So far it looks like only 3 of us, myself, Steve, and Tyler for an overnight at the lodge. I'm hoping to get at least one more for the Four Minimum Myles wanted.

Let's review on Wed 3/21 at the meeting. I know Steve and I are wanting to go regardless of others :)

Need to finalize food and cooking arraingements as well as some knowledge on the lodge set up, if Myles doesn't come along that is.

I know I need confirmation from those going for room and food considerations and $ to pay Myles or buy supplies at the meeting.

Excellent trip, recommend you all take this one. Thanks to Myles for his hospitality and leading us out and to Tim for hauling some fuel, even though I didn't need it for my Arctic Cat :tounge: could of easily made it round trip, including the extra trip I took with Tim and his son cutting the connector trail from the Tanana to the Commissionars Trail.

Photos up soon and a ride report for the newsletter.
