All, There are currently 10 persons signed up to attend this ride. (The lodge has space for 4 more, if you still want to attend). The snow depth at the lodge is 19 inches and temperature has been around 5 above during the night, and upper 30's during the day. The lodge is at 3800 feet elevation. For those heading out this Thursday (Mike, Dan, and Rich), I (Dan) will be the contact person and plan on leaving Fairbanks at 6:30am. For those leaving Friday (Marvin, Lenny, Brian, Thomas, Sara, Darrel, & Suki), Lenny will be the lead. Lenny will be at the Knotty shop on Friday morning and leave from there at 6:15am. He can be reached at 570-394-8616.
The radio link to the lodge appears to be down, so I have been unable to contact them this weekend. I do not have the current Denali road conditions, but as of last week when I talked to them, there was snow covering the entire road all the way to the lodge. From Paxon to about mile 12 Denali Hwy, there is cell service if you have problems. The lodge number is; 907-388-6361.
If weather is bad on Friday, I will drive from the lodge and meet the group at the Paxon trailhead (10am) and escort them to the lodge.

Thanks. Dan 907-750-1163

Weather Update, it's great spring riding here and it looks to be about the same at MacLaren, freezing at night about 40 during the day, usually afternoons.

Make sure you have scratcher for the trail and T-Shirts for the afternoons :). Weather link for MacLaren:

Adam from Friends church was out this weekend and the road and snow at the lodge are great. That was passed on to me from Tom Carter today.
