Caribou Lake 4/12/25

Upcoming Caribou Lake trip. This is the last official snow machine trip for the club. We will depart Just a Store (Tesoro gas Station) at 7:00am Saturday April 12th and drive to Cantwell. From there, turn on the Denali highway and drive to the end of the plowed road. (approx 5 miles). This trip requires crossing the Jack River about 10 times. Hopefully the ice bridges are still intact. Round trip to the lake is about 30 miles and most trail sleds can make it there. Some mountain riders may venture further beyond the lake. If snow conditions are bad or we can not cross the Jack River, the backup plan is to drive to the Alpine Lodge and have a meal.
