Opening
The meeting of the Fairbanks Snow Travelers Board Meeting was called to order at 6:42pm on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 3310 Whiteside Ct, Fairbanks, AK.

Business
1. Website
a. Chuck made a footprint site on GoDaddy called FSTRiders.com. It times out every 3 days but can be filled in with AI content, can be made interact with Facebook and can be made to connect to the old website &/or bring that content over into a drop-down menu.
b. The basic website costs $25/year. Add-ons to make it better will total about $250/yr.
c. Dan will contact the person who owns and controls the current website to discuss the transfer of archives, etc.
d. The Board approved Chuck to lock in the website by March 5.
2. Continuity of the Board
a. Chris will meet with Dan early in March to transfer paperwork, keys, etc.
b. Tim Lokker will get with Dan to be added to the bank account.
3. Ride Schedule
a. 2/15/25 - Chena Boat Launch to the Monderosa near Nenana – Dan leads
b. 2/22/25 - tentatively Tim L will lead a ride on the Mike Kelly & Compeau’s trails
c. 3/1/25 – Salchaket Roadhouse to end of trail and back – Dan leads
d. 3/9/25 – Sunday ride – tentatively Olnes Pond to Haystack – Chris leads
e. 3/14-17/25 – Lake Louise – this ride is full – maybe someone will volunteer to lead a local ride
f. 3/20-23/25 – MaClaren Lodge – the owner is working up a pricing schedule for us with options for all-inclusive vs lodging only. – 12 people are signed up out of 30 slots/beds
4. Discussion of possible Board Meeting locations
5. Next General Membership Meeting: next Wednesday, Feb 19, 7pm at Compeau’s
