We got 4 inches of snow yesterday added to the 2 or 3 we already had and it is snowing now. I dug out the sleds yesterday and we rode to the Chatanika Lodge today. The Fairbanks Creek Road and the Circle Fairbanks Trail are good. The red trail from the Circle Trail to Chatanika is rideable but not great. Probably not enough snow for riding in the Chatanika valley. The Fairbanks Creek Road is plowed to the trailhead at the junction with the Fish Creek Road. We checked out the trails up here on top. Fort Knox has cleared the approaches to their road crossings and put up signs warning of the upcoming crossings. Be careful when crossing their roads as there is an around the clock flow of very large ore trucks. The trails up here on top are so so; grass and brush showing but rideable. I suspect the Alpha C Site Road would be good.
