MacLaren has 12 inches, per Allen.

Now this is the report I want to see on the Whites, from the Alaska Avalanche Folks http://www.alaskasnow.org/Announcements
Wednesday, November 3, 2010: Storm Update (Thompson Pass) Over 100 inches has fallen at Thompson Pass since the beginning of October. There is 3' of snow on the ground at the Pass. A major winter storm is expected ...

Some friends of mine went to summit last weekend and said it was horible. Rocks rocks and no snow. They got about a 1/2 mile and said *beep* this.

From what I've heard so far, Cantwell and Summit are low, MacLaren as I noted 12 inches and Talketna area has a couple feet.

The cams at Honolulu were looking good today, at least when the sun was out and one could see.

I might head down that way Friday after T-day if we don't get any more snow.

Maybe Thompson Pass, from the avalanche web site
SNOWPACK DISCUSSION:

Six feet of snow has fallen at Thompson Pass since the last week of October; 144" have fallen this winter. There is 3' on the ground. The storms have started with strong northerly outflow winds followed by strong southerly onshore winds as the storms move inland. The storm snow is sitting on a bed surface of buried windslab.

Thompson pass is ready to ride. I got a ride report from this last Sunday and they had 5 to 6 feet of snow in the pass. Major stuckfest with snow coming over the hood.

Ride Petersville
Update... lots of riders on this holiday (Thurs) - they all said Ville road was brootal but - - the snow was good out there in the hills. We did have a couple days of cooler temps - today warmed to 33 and snow in forecast. Remember that there is no base, lots of hard things out there... and still LOTS OF WATER. Back trails are not all broke. 121 trails are not open yet. BE SAFE.

I am curious about the snow level at 28 mile elliot, 57 mile elliot and up the steese at cleary summit and Nome creek?
Anyone have any ride information on them?
It seems all reports are for Thompson Pass or south past Cantwell.

Report is dated "Last updated Tuesday, November 2, 2010"

Might need to call them for the ride of the 20th.

We got 8 or 9 inches of new snow up here on Cleary Summit last weekend. Haven't heard anything about the White Mountains. It is blowing and snowing up here right now. I see Eagle Summit is closed because of blowing snow.
