Nordale Pull out
Nordale Pull out, plowed out and ramp open, watch for dog teams.
Small Wood Valley trail open not much over hanging brush in trail.
Track on Chena but not used by me yet.
Lower half of Two River fire break trail good.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Re: Nordale Pull out
Rode with Stoney today "Trails" were great.
Scratcher's down all day. As heat wave sets in scratcher's will become required.
Come on how about some trail reports.

Re: Nordale Pull out
I crossed the Chena several places, but did see lots of open water.
I'm curious of the trail that connects chena lakes area to the Chena Hot Springs trail system. I'm referring to the one that you follow the dike all the way to the end and then there is a trail that continues next to that bluff.
About 1500 ft into it, there are "No trespassing" signs and then again on the other side about 2000 ft down the trail facing the other way. I understand the bluff itself has been private property and the guy was out there doing work on it the past couple years.
My concern is that trail going through. We've used it for a long time to get into the trail system on the other side. If that is essentially off limits, is there another way besides going all the way around to Nordale?

Note Iowa dome not yet broke out.
Did Cross Tanana at south Cushman and ran down USAF ice road, sweet run but no trails broke out to clear Creek Butt or to Blair lakes. Everyone goes till there brush stop's turn around and leaves. Hope everyone got a pruning saw and cut a few trees every time out, trails would be open in no time.
Anyone down past chena pump wayside on the Tanana yet?

Comment on Tony's post about signs along trail from dike to potlatch ponds.
There is to be a new road put in from Chena Hot spring road to this block of land, the builder said he would not block trails crossing road east to west over his
road but never heard what he was going to do with the trail thats on his land?
Question for Larry Morris?
Ref. public easement ADL 420227 Richard Heieren

Re: Nordale Pull out
I heard about it from Tom the trails coordinator last night at trails advisory meeting last night. It is an RS2477 trail officially recognized by the state with a 100' easement. DNR is aware of it and will be asking the land owner to move them out of the easement.
