It's a nice run, but you do have some turns that can get a bit confusing, but here's a shot it.

From 10 Mile CHSR, go down the road just east of the 10 Mile Merchantile, I forget the name (anyone else remember it). Follow the road for a mile or so and you'll come to a big open field to your right. You'll see a trail to the right at this point, take it. About a mile down you'll come to the bridge, cross it and bear to your left (you should see three trails, one to the right, one sort of in the middle and one on your left) take the "middle" one. Follow this for about 5 miles, you should see an orange trail arrow marker that points to the right, take it. This goes up the hill towards Iowa dome.

When the trail connects to the road, turn right and follow the road for 3 to 4 miles until you see the sign that says "Hillbilly", take it to the left and go down the hill. At the bottom of the hill you'll hit Fish Creek. You have two options here, one is to go straight and follow the trail, if the overflow is thick enough to cross fish creek. If it's not (the overflow) go back 100 feet to the turn to you just passed on your right, it should be flagged. You'll make a left about 1/4 mile down this route and that turn should be flagged as well. Follow the trail until you re-connect with the Hillbilly trail, but now your on the other side of Fish Creek and it now becomes the Alpha C trail, follow it all the way to the Mine Road, its pretty well used and once you get to the Mine Road area its a pretty obvious trail. Once you get to the top, look for Cleary Summit and take the trail in that direction.

Follow this all the way to Cleary Summit and then take the Fairbanks Creek Road (has road sign) and follow that for 6 miles or so to the Historical Fairbanks / Circle trail, its on your left. Just keep going until you get to Chatanika Lodge.

Say hi to Ronnie and Shirley for me...

Adventure Road, Thanks Tony, you'd think I'd remember by now as many time as I've ridden it :)

Snow-Crazy, you might want to print the map we have at http://www.snowtravelers.org/cleary2rivers.php If you do run it and GPS it, send me the GPS track log file and I'll add it to the list.

Enjoy

John,

I just emailed you the tracks from Adventure Road to Cleary Summit and from Cleary Summit to Chatanika. I don't know how to post them here or on the trails database.
