Our first-ever ride to Beaver Point Lodge was supposed to take place last winter. It was cancelled due to lack of snow. We are going to try again this winter. It will be an overnight ride, $75 for supper, breakfast and a night's lodging. Since we have never done this before, it should be a real adventure. This is being posted now because payment has to be made on or before our 19 January meeting.

26-27 March. It is on Deadman Lake which is a few miles this side of Manley.

I've been there (since the new ownership) and it is positively wonderful! They made us great breakfast and it was a VERY nice ride.

So we trailer to Manely and ride from there, how far is it and is it going to be a group ride or just a few?

It will be a group ride. John J. is leading. I think his plan is to trailer to Skinny Dick's and ride across the Minto Flats to Deadman Lake. Is that right, John?

That right, plan is to meet at Skinny's, take the Dunbar trail and go across the flats.
This will be about a 60 mile to the lodge.
Since I've never ridden it I'm hoping for some help in leading :<)
I will need a RSVP via sign up so I can work out secure parking at Skinny's and the lodge can be ready for us. I believe the max# for the lodge is 12.
