Chena River Condition

#1 Post by skelsey »

Anybody been South on the river out of Chena Landing. I have heard mixed reports. Wondering how it is out to the flats or further south on the River. Anbody blazed down there yet? Thanks.

I agree with Summit8

If you do go on the river, unload at River Park on the Tanana, it should be pretty solid by now.

Course I always look for first tracks, just make sure they don't disappear all of a sudden ...

The ice on the Tanana at Chena Pump Landing has been ridden on for a month now. South of there I would not expect any problems but, like John wrote, if the tracks disappear...
