thanks.
Hey Louis, will call you at noon per our text. I'll give you the more details then, but you'll need to get a hold of the lodge(s) to make sure there's rooms available.
The food discussion is for dinner Friday, Larry is being his normal generous self and treating everyone to burgers for dinner, now to test his hamburger cooking skills :0 We know he's good at Hot Dogs, so this will be the test of the Chef.
The ride, as it now stands, is scheduled to leave Cantwell at 9:00 AM Saturday morning, so if you drive out Friday you'll need to get a room for the night in Cantwell.
The riding will be a mix. Nice thing about the Denali Hwy, one can get both trail and mountain riding in, the powder all depends on mother nature.

Alpine Creek Lodge is completely sold out for Saturday night
Looking to bunk up with anyone that's rooming solo. Lodge said it would be ok, majority of rooms have bunk beds.
I don't snore and some pretty good jokes

So come on, my snowmobile is anxious to go
A prompt response will greatly be appreciated as I also need to book a room at Backwoods Lodge, which I can't do unless I first secure a place to sleep Saturday night.
Thanks in advance

Louis,
I'm in a room all by myself at Alpine Lodge. The top bunk is free. I have to get up at 2 am to plow snow, so call me tomorrow after 8 am at 907-378-4216.

We had nine people on this ride. I had a great time, but it was way too short. Two full days are needed to enjoy all the area around Alpine Creek Lodge. We left too much snow without any tracks in it. It was a cold ride in and out. I for one will be investing in some gaunlets for the hand grips. My hands were way cold

and will always bring in my carhartt jacket as a back up, seeing my core temperature went way down.

I probably need to install my heated jacket adapter I use on my motorcycle and use my heated jacket. That baby puts out 132 degrees @ 32 degrees F. I would always be warm then.
Louis did a great job learning how to mountain ride. He did way better than I expected for a first timer. Way to go.
Shawn had a blast on the hills, as well as me. I'm a mountain riding junkie.
We had a blast at the Backwoods lodge also and a get barbeque and social time.
