I know the last season isn't done yet for everyone, but the board will start working on next year's rides in May. At last night's general membership meeting, there was a request that we put back in "some of the old rides." Rides that were mentioned included the old Mercantile to Chatanika ride, Angel Creek and the old Chatanika loop trail. Our answer was that we would like to do them but we need ride leaders who know the old routes and are willing lead. We are asking for two things here - suggestions for rides next winter and volunteers to lead them. If you have a suggestion and/or are willing to lead a ride or two, let us know.

I should be back from the sand box early to mid April and would be willing to lead either a Cantwell or summit ride.
Keep in mind this would not be a beginner ride.

Tim,
Too much to cover here. Hopefully Crystal will publish the minutes.
usafracer,
I assume you mean April of 2011? April of 2010 is almost gone.
Dave,
Can we put you down for Cleary Summit to Chatanika?

Paul I don't see a problem at this time, I assume this to be a family moderate ride for all?
Let me know if I can do more of course prefer something I am familar with.

Dave,
I have been gone since 15 June. That is my excuse for such a late reply. Yes, "Family," nothing that a relatively new rider could not handle.
And thanks for the offer to lead more rides. We often have a leader or two drop out during the winter and have to scramble for a new leader. I will keep you in mind.
