November 19th ride - canceled

I am supposed to be leading the ride out to Quartz Creek Trail on November 19th, but the snowmachine is still broken at this time (actually haven't gotten it into the shop yet.) I'm not comfortable borrowing someone elses snowmachine.
I would like to move this ride to January 7th. I really want to do this ride!
Thoughts?

I am sorry. I did some e-mails with Jody and Juan and I think I have dibs on 7 January for the Tanana Flats ride that was scheduled for 17 December. That would leave 10, 17, 24 and 31 December open.

I don't know if my machine will be fixed by Dec, but I'll try for Dec. 31st and cross my fingers.
Thanks!

Anyone know the snow depths at Nome Creek or the Steese by turn off ?
Forecast puts the temps between 0 and 11 below.
Anywho, depending on snow levels I might be willing to lead if some one knows how much snow they got ?

Unless someone else can lead this, this ride is canceled.
John, did you want to lead a ride on Saturday (temperatures permitting)?
Sorry =(

I was thinking I'd lead the 19th ride. However, I think this one might be canceled with the temp predictions.
If there is "lots" of interest I'd be willing to meet folks at Chatanika Lodge for breakfast and take it from there if temp and folks are game for going.

Thanks Chuck,
Hope your enjoying the Heat Wave your having on the mountain top.
My house was -41 below around 11:30...
Guess we'll talk about it tonight and see who, if anyone, plans to go. Otherwise I save the gas of driving out to Chatanika and sit by the wood stove with a good book. :<)

Didn't sound like there was a lot of people who wanted to ride this weekend - Unless John says otherwise, this ride is canceled.

Ronnie from the Lodge called this morning, it's 50 below there and dense fog. The Poker site isn't reporting. It's 13 below up here with gusts to 30 mph. Here's a link to my neighbor Tom's weather station:
http://www.rustychevy.com/wx.htm His location is in the Cleary Summit Subdivision above the Pedro Dome Road and Steese Highway. My wind guage is located on our roof about 30 feet above the ground and we're on top of the hill so we see higher winds than Tom or the RWIS site up here.
