FRIDAY Dec 23rd ride

After Saturday's ride we decided we'd do a Friday run from the parking area across from Rosehip on CHSR, that's 25 mile CHSR.
Plan to leave at 10:00 AM and head towards Angle Creek, or maybe Colorado Creek, or wherever the trail takes us
Bring a lunch in case we don't make it to Angle Creek Lodge.

Some the hot spring trail is in good shape after the 2river Angel creek run this last weekend..Snow was really good around the stiles cabin loop..

Glad we didn't do this last weekend, would of been in the middle of dog race.. Some great photos on Two River Dog Musher site.
But this does mean the trail should be in decent shape for a run to Angle Creek for lunch..

Trail base should be hard and here on Nordale we had few inches since last weekend. No bets thought!

The Sat before last, when we rode from Nordale to Colorado Creek, the farther up the valley we went the better the snow got, so I'm hoping for a repeat.

.FRIDAY...SNOW LIKELY. SNOW ACCUMULATION UP TO 1 INCH.
TEMPERATURES STEADY 5 ABOVE TO 5 BELOW. EAST WINDS TO 10 MPH.

Sounds good to me! Hopefully a inch or more of snow..wishfull thinking!
