Fairbanks Snow Travelers

Paul just had surgery so he will not be available to lead the ride into the flats this coming Saturday.

So I will lead a ride from the McKay Creek trail head. Breakfast at the Chatanika Lodge at 10:00, I will call and see if we can get in earlier and will post if so.

Cut off will be 20 below at the FAI at 0800 Sat morning. It's trying to snow!

We rode McCay Creek last Monday, trails are bumpy and ice packed, but plenty of snow on the trail to ride, put your scratchers down. Not a lot of deep powder to go play in, but that's expected. All in all, a pretty good ride.

Thanks Steve! I think with this snow I'm going to bag this trip tomorrow. Eielson was getting buried today and I'm not going to be ready to go tomorrow. So as of now, this ride is canceled; unless someone else wants to lead or has somewhere they want to go. Sorry!
