LaRay's Bakery Ride Feb 18th

LaRay's Bakery ride is this Saturday February 18th. This is an easy ride that even family's can participate on. We will meet at the Nordale Road pullout (About 1/2 mile from the Chena River bridge) at 10:00am. There are 3 options to choose from, depending on what you like.
Option 1. Nordale road to LaRay's is six miles one way. You could do an out and back on the same trail for a 12 mile trip.
Option 2. You can continue from LaRay's to some open fields to try your driving skills in powder snow. (It is a least 2 feet deep in untracked areas) From there we will ride on the Chena River and head back to Nordale Rd. The Chena river is frozen except for 2 small areas. The Quest dog race established a trail on the river that is safe for all, and no danger of breaking thru. Total distance is 21 miles.
Option 3. If you do not want to ride a snow machine, you can drive your car to LaRay's and meet us at 11:00am. We will be there for an hour or more. Their coffee, pastry's and biscuits and gravy are outstanding.
